Posted on May 17, 2021 Caller type: Scam call Location: Australia
Call originating in Romsey, Victoria. Made to my smartphone. Recorded message in a very authoritative manner, Australian accent. Purports to be from the National Crime Authority saying that there has been illegal activity on my bank account and that to avoid being arrested I should press 1 to continue etc. etc. Of course I hung up at that point. You could easily be fooled by this one. Recommend you do not respond in any way.
