Scammer. Said his name was William Karey and he was calling from sphinx Technologies as my computer was infected with a virus.

Strangely he hung up when I told he him was a liar and a thief.

I only answered this call as it looked like a local Ballarat phone number. Guy on the other end started asking about my computer. He was very hard to understand so I just having up. Sounds like a scam!

Rang and asked for me (but couldn't pronounce my simply sounding name) Had a heavy accent and background noise sounded like a call centre. I told him I wasn't available and he hung up. Getting fed up with all these calls.

100% sure it's scammers.
Just got a call from this number. It sounded like a call centre with loads of people talking in the background.
The guy said he was calling about my computer.
When I asked him who he worked for he hung up.
