i took call in haste as expecting a call from someone. Was informed via pre-recorded msg that lawsuit in progress!

warrant for my arrest? I rang the number on a different phone and the 'foreign' guy said "Hello, how can I help you?" … pathetic.

I'm in Brisbane when I got this call. I thought it to be a little strange as the first person that would notify me would be my accountant. Horrible people trying to threaten the innocent. What goes around, comes around buddy.

I've got to start running, they are coming for me, my warrant out for my arrest... who sets up these digital robot calls ... why can't the australian mobile phone network suppliers block these sort of scams from the start, the accc should some how make networks regulate these scam calls or systems, block the digital phone scam computer based systems... I am sure the way these call systems are constructed must be blockable...

They told me there was a tax case against me. And they needed to know my TFN, and other personal details....

Same as everybody else; warrent out for my arrest blah blah blah. Funny, I always thought police and lawyers were brave enough to talk to you over the phone, man to man instead of using a pre-recorded message like a chicken-sh!t, little b!tch.

I'm reporting them to the ACCC Scamwatch; maybe if enough people do the same a real cop will give THEM a call.
