Same as everyone else - I only let robo voice get as far as Ebay and hung up - this site is great for this sort of thing,
My mobile identified it as a Geelong number.

Robot called about $299 that will come out o my credit card from ebay from a iTunes voucher purchase. I called back the number and she told me I had to download a claim form. I hung up, called my bank and they confirmed it was a scam number. I called the number back and asked them how do they sleep at night!

Same as the above comments. An automated message about a $299 ebay purchase being debited from the account. Rang the number and got an Indian Call Centre answering "Hi this is Ebay". Just hung up.

Left a voice mail telling me to call the number back stating that $299.99 would be debited from my account unless I called back. I don't know where they were calling from because that part of the message was missing.

I just got a call from someone claiming to be eBay saying there had been some suspicious activity on my account for $299 that they wanted to refund. She said my phone had been hacked by China and that someone was trying to buy a iTunes Virtual Gift Card on a duplicate account they had set up with my details.. It sounded suss straight away..

She wanted me to download TeamViewer from the app store.. As soon as she said this I new she was definitely a scammer because I work with TeamViewer quite a lot and know it is used to grant external parties access to your PC or device. (if there was an issue, she could have explained how to fix it verbally without needing direct access into my phone)

I called her out and told her I knew exactly what TeamViewer was, and that I would not give them access into my phone and her response was to tell me to investigate and call back..

It's DEFINITELY a scam!!! (I did a quick Google search and can that other people have been targeted with the same bullsh*t story)

The call is to advise that they need to issue a refund for a recent eBay purchase which is a scam. I told them I didn't need a refund and they hung up on me :-)
