Saying to call back as there’s lawsuit against my name will get me arrested

Partial message recorded: "There is a lawsuit filed against your name. The moment you get this message, contact me on my department..."

An electronic US voiced message saying same as above. I called back and when someone picked up, they took a while to speak and there was lots of loud talking and laughing in the background. It was only when I said I'd received the message that he then introduced himself as officer....someone. I wonder if I'd waited to see what they said first if he'd have known what I was calling about. When I asked for his full name and he hesitated, I said I didn't believe him as I'd received no other notice, by mail etc. He then said, ok, and hung up. I'd be interested to hear from others.

Same with me, a pre-recorded text-to-voice message... definitely a scam.

i got a call from the "australian taxation office" about a lawsuit under my name and that i will get arrested

Also received a recorded voice message saying there was a lawsuit against my name and I was going to be arrested. I called back multiple times but just rang out with no voice bank. Must be a scam

I just got this too. Assuming a scam. The accent was US and the legal terms were also from the US.

I didn't answer so they left a robot message saying I will get arrested if I don't call them back. SCAM

Saying it is the Australian Taxation Office and there is lawsuit against my name and if i do not respond to the phone call there will be a warrant for my arrest.
