This calling number is again active in Feb 2023. I didn't bother to answer after checking the highly informative entries of fellow contributors to reverseaustralia.com. Thanks all!
Note to those who suggest that this is a call from a cancer charity: It's not. I talked to an official from a major cancer charity who was checking on a stand at my local shopping mall last week. He advised me that no reputable cancer charity in Australia now collects money via phone campaigns.
Apparently scam callers are the scourge of legit charities and falling prey to these evil, caniving crooks means your money never reaches a target charity. If you pay by credit card, this exposes you to further likely fraud.

Caller: A breast and prostate cancer charity org seeking donations I've checked my call history and saw that i'd left a message to be removed from the call list and then had blocked them the next day back in Nov22. However, i've since had 5 calls inclusive of the one i picked up today (i missed or ignored the other 4 not recognising the number). It was a nice lady reading from a script regarding breast and prostate cancer, etc, obviously asking for a donation. I know they're doing good for the community and as someone who regularly supports 2 other NFP's closer to my heart, won't support another. I assume this is legit. Unfortunately, i did not pay attention to the name of the organisation to google whether they're legit or not. On the face of it, they seem to be.

Caller: Spam Many calls, even one after the other with one number different. Never messages. It’s a nuisance when continuously calling. There needs to be something to stop this.
