This number just tried calling me from "Telstra". They wanted to 'discuss my contract and make sure that I was making the most of it.'Then they went on to ask for my birthdate etc, at which point I said no thankyou I will go into a store or call up myself if I want to discuss my personal info with Telstra. He then said to me that I cannot be taken off the call list unless I give him my birthday, I said that's ok. (Next time they call he will get a piece of my mind though!) I then called Telstra and they confirmed that no one from there called me this morning. I did try to report the number, the first person I spoke to said they do try to follow up and track these callers, but the second person just told me to use the do not call register.

Dam I'm surprised everyone is getting calls from this odd number its such a pain I keep getting calls from this number do yous think its a spam or virus ...

Would be interesting to see how many other people it has happened to. Would like to report them... surely Telstra has a way to do this?

Got a call from this number which I missed so called back twice. Both times it rang for about 3 rings then cut out...as though the person on the other end was simply disconnecting you. Really odd so checked out on the internet and low and behold there are others who have experienced a similar issue.

When i answer it hangs up when i call back it rings then just beeps and hangs up
