Rang twice today and hang up. rang them on my mobile and left a message and told them to stop calling me!

these jerks keep calling me - i'm sick of it. Feel like disconnecting my phone because I keep asking them to stop and the next day they do it again.

That is absolute rubbish!

"have to re enrol every 6 months" Don't know where you got this from. I have just checked my registration and it doest expire till 6/2021

Just had a call 12pm on a Sunday.

Usual Gen Y asking me 'how are you today' I would like to shoot who ever came up with that ....

Tell her to cut to the chase and tell me the purpose of the call 'we are conducting a survey....' interrupt little princess Gen Y to ask what the survey was about.... 'I'm sorry I can not .......' click end of call.

Does anyone really waste their time talking to this intrusive, offensive, arrogant individuals.

Do not call register lasts for 8 years Keeps the honest ones away at least. :-)

Who can still call me or fax me?
Registering your number on the Do Not Call Register will not stop all calls or marketing faxes to your number(s). There are some limited exemptions which enable certain public interest organisations to make telemarketing calls or send marketing faxes. Exempt organisations include charities, religious organisations, educational institutions and political parties.
Companies with which you have an on-going business relationship will still be allowed to call or fax your number(s) even if it is on the Register. For example, it may be reasonable to expect to receive a telemarketing call (or fax) from a financial institution, utility, service provider or telephone carrier if you have an existing account. You may request the business to stop calling you and/or faxing at any time.
Two weeks before this date, a reminder email will be sent advising that your registration is about to expire and that you need to re-register your number(s). However, you don't need to wait until your registration expires to re-register your number for another eight years.

Got a call from these guys, Friday 6:30 PM. It seems they call people any time they want.

ACMA site states block is valid for 8 years. Must confirm request by responding to email sent from ACMA.

As a former telemarketer one thing the public does not realise is that once you are enrolled on the Do not call register you have to re enrol every 6 months, it is not a permanent register and the do not call register on sells the expired names to telemarketing companies like all the big companies do.

I got a call from this number early on a Sunday morning. I was so angry that I sent an email to newspoll @ newspoll.com.au to request them, rather angrily, that they take my number off their list. The executive of newspoll has just rang me now, in response to my email, and said it was someone pretending to be them, and that my number is not on their list, and that it wasn't them!!!! Now, I have a phone that records everything, so I was able to give him the exact time, and number that was received onto my landline. He then conceded that it was 'one of their executives', and that the nuisance calls were from newspoll. Anyhow thanks to my phone I have his number, so if any of you are angry with Newspoll for disturbing you, call him on (02) 9921 1051 and vent your concerns, preferably early on a Sunday morning.

Ok Its Sunday morning, 22 June at around 11.00am, and these guys rang, saying they were doing a short survey! SUNDAY MORNING!!

I always get calls from these pricks.
I told them to F off now they keep ringing twice a day!

Just email them on newspoll @ newspoll.com.au tell them to remove your name from their list and that you are on DNCR they have to remove your number if requested. It is definitely Newspoll

Stupid wankers called up at 8pm waking up my kids after we got them to bed...
I could hear the telemarketing people on the other end having a conversation - when I said hello they hung up.

An absolute bunch of d*ckheads. called me at 8 PM, woke my baby up. I will wait until 12 midnight, Martin O'Shannessy is the CEO and John Davis is the research manager. going to give the taste of their own karma. wish me good luck guys.

Had no less than 10 calls from this number over the past 4 days. Ranging from 9am until 8:15pm at night. Haven't answered any of them as I don't know the number and no message left so it can't be that important. I've also started a new contact that contains all the telemarketing numbers that call and I simply don't answer or silence the phone if they do.

Please have some respect for shift workers who are so tired when they get home in the morning that they forget to turn off their phones. PLEASE leave me and my very tired and stressed family (working in the health/medical areas) alone. Thank you. It may be your life we save next time.....IF WE GET ENOUGH SLEEP!!!!
