This number rang about 1:30pm today purporting to be from some company and the male caller with an accent similar to Indian/Pakistani said he was calling about our car that was involved in an accident. Asked to identify our car he could not. We have a silent number and he said he got our number from AAMI. Our car has not been involved in any accident and we have not had any dealings with AAMI. When challenged further he eventually hung up. Out of curiosity I rang the number back about 7:30pm and I got a Telstra message advising that the call could not be connected and to check the number. Beware. Likely to be a scam.
