This number is driving me nuts. I don't even answer it anymore, what's the point if no one talks on the other end. Calls always come between 5pm and 6pm.

A few calls and hang ups from this number at the same time for the last few days. pretty annoying. Today I missed the call, but yesterday I answered and nothing. I didn't think any more about it, but it's a sydney number I didn't recognise. I would like to be taken off their call list also if anyone has any ideas. I called the number and got: "you may have recieved a missed call from our number today regarding our lottery...if you would like to hear back from us please leave your name and number..." (yes it was the epilepsy action group - a bad way to make money for an important cause) then there was 'no space in the memory to record a message'

Sounds like lazy outsourced telemarketers to me.

this is absolutely disgusting for a charity organisation. Its pathetic that they have to do these silly calls. It is annoying and really needs to be stopped. I am very frustrated, the police or someone needs to do something about it. It is insane.

Terribly annoying! Moving around Australia and they still find us, yes report to Telstra, then police and inform company next calls will be tracked, date and time and reported for the $20,000 fine ! ! !

Telstra can give information about how to do this!

I too have been phoned but not only this number but several others with raffle books. Seems once you agree to take one you go on a list, or I feel that we do. But I remember these are charitable organisations and I do answer now and politely explain that I already donate, am also no longer employed and would like my name removed. Charities are having a difficult time and the callers are working for a living (even if it is annoying us). I would hate to have their jobs.

This number belongs to Austism Action. I also have been receiving many calls from them. Yesterday I emailed them, requesting they stop. Today I received a reply, saying they have removed my number from their records.

I have also been getting numerous calls from this number. After reading the above, I have just rung and checked. The number is for Epilepsy Action. I have left my number and requested that they stop calling me, and that I cannot afford to make a donation. That may change their minds :)
