I did not answer as I did not recognise the number and no voice mail message was left. When I called the number back from another phone, there was an Optus message that the number had been disconnected. Set number to auto reject.

Same as the other descriptions, a woman with a Kiwi/Maori accent, advising of a way to be given monetary assistance, wouldn't answer when I asked where she accessed my number from. Told her I had a friend in state parliament (I do) and she hung up.

received a call while on another call. tried to call back but the number is not connected.

They maybe calling from an exchange or telephone pillar if the phone is disconnected.
Some one that has access to street cabling or the exchange
Maybe they can be traced via Exchange sign in records
blocked this number by adding contact as "pain in the ass" then blocking
Maybe list time of call to help tracking these PITAs

Yeah called (from Dural apparently) some loud breathing then hung up

Missed call... tried to call back line disconnected.... If you cant leave a message or at least use a number to call back not interested.

I’ve missed this call on numerous times and tonight I was able to answer at 7:50pm only to have them hang up once I answered. Came here to see numerous complaints. I’ve blocked the number.

got a call from this number twice. rang it back but message says number not connected. when i answered it disconnected straight away. have now blocked it

Bastards have called twice now. I have now blocked them. I also tried calling back and get message that line is disconnected.

Telemarketers using old phone numbers to try and get people to answer the calls, as people generally won't answer private numbers these days. Just scammers.

This number called me saying that there is a government campaign to help me reduce the amount of tax I pay. Wanted me to answer some questions to see if I qualify. The problem is, if you call back on this number to see if its legit and not a scam, you get a message saying this number has been disconnected!? Be aware.
