Caller: Claimed to be NAB

"Hi, my name is Ryan Williams and I'm calling you from the technical department of the National Australia Bank, and the call is in relation to your NAB account."

I told him I don't have an NAB account and he hung up straight away.

Foreign sounding, probably Indian, but claiming to be Ryan Williams, how stupid do they think we are?

Caller: Indian Call center

Not sure how this happened, number appears legitimate but there was more than one voice at the other end, and it definitely sounded like YET ANOTHER INDIAN CALL CENTRE. Blocked.

Caller: Claimed to be from Telstra. Probably some kind of scam.

He said that our Telstra router was causing a malfunctioning signal or something and asked us to turn off the router. I said that I couldn't reach the router at this time.
We went round in circles for a bit (him asking me to re-set the router and me saying that I couldn't right now) and then he abruptly hung up.
If he was actually from Telstra then he had pretty poor customer service...

Caller: Claiming to be NAB

Phishing call claiming to be from NAB and following up on a transaction “made from my account to NZ”. Caller sounded very, very Indian for someone with the name “Ryan Williams” and hung up once challenged.
