Caller: Someone saying they are from Windows

Told me his name was Peter and he said there was a problem with my internet. He wanted me to turn on my computer and he would tell me what to do next. I told him I have turned it on and he said no you haven’t (I hadn’t). I asked him what I would see when I did what he wanted me to do but he wouldn’t say. I asked how much it would cost me and he said it was totally free because I was a customer of windows. I told him I wasn’t a customer of windows and he hung up. How rude.....
