Seems to be a scam caller

They called my mobile and had my name.Said they act for Insurances Companies and wanted information about an accident last year.Woman with an English accent which was another giveaway.When told that I would not tell her anything she said I was rude and hung up

Called through enquiring in an accident I had apparently had, advised I know he was a scammer and he ended the call

Esure, although a UK company, have English staff calling Australian public with an Australian telephone number showing. The last one I received (and I have been blocking them each time, post phone call), was from Sydney (02) 9188 1633. This must be the third time I’ve received a call and they start the conversation with “You have been involved in a car accident in the last 12 months.” This is a complete lie and when challenged, the caller is unable to provide a date or any details. This practice has to stop, it is misleading and deceptive and more vulnerable members of the public will be caught out by their lies.

Missed the call, when I tried to call back it disconnected automatically.

Do not speak to these people. They are scammers. If you asked them which road they will continue to say that you had an accident on the road

They also called me i called back and they asked me if i have been in an accident in the last 12months and asked if i got everything sorted, i could hardly understand her and did not catch who the company is
