Call back says this extension unavailable

Claiming to be EFTSure providing service for APRA and wanted to confirm recent bank details. Scam.

Claimed to be EFT Sure for Dept Education, however who in their right mind would give out bank account details over the phone when 1. I updated this online, 2. received a confirmation email that they had updated bank details and if this is not correct ring 1300 985 976.
I told caller I would ring 1300 985 976 to confirm it and that if you are legitimate your processes are all wrong given the amount of scam callers these days.

Claiming to be from the department of education Vic but it’s a NSW number wanting to verify my bank details. I told the woman on the phone I know this is not a legitimate call and that all this can be done online not over the phone.
