had 2 missed calls on the same day. on the same day I answered a different number (02) 8999 9068 who claimed to Westpac Income insurers. He knew my address, occupation, email address, date of birth. and my debit card numbers. seemed professional and very convincing. Went to Westpac branch. they informed me they don't sign customers up over the phone. I cancelled my card

I got a call and claimed that she is from ANZ. She told me that I am a lucky member to get selected to this ANZ health cover. She managed to take mine and my husband's name and our birthdays. Fifteen minutes in our conversation, she tried to get the validity, expiry date and digit numbers of my debit card and that's when I become suspicious. I told her if she is from ANZ she should be able to get it from her database. I told her that I dont have my debit card with me and she was not impressed either that I don't memorise my debit card number and expiry date. She said that she can give me time to find my wallet and she will wait for me no matter how long it will take. I said 'cool' then hanged up on her. She tried to call me back but did not answer.

Never give your bank details to anyone.

Get over it. People trying to do their jobs.

Had a call from a lady who claimed she was from the ANZ bank and start asking my account BSB and number. Refused to give her this information and ended the call.

I had 2 missed calls from this number and no message. When I called back (from a silent landline) a recorded message said they are from a company called Peakbound, calling on behalf of financial clients. Not sure who/what they are trying to flog to me, but waste of time.
