Annoying people

(02) 9119 2586 called yet again, do not call back and press 2 as they do not remove your number and only call more. Block the number if you can

The call took a while to connect was quiet at first them chimed in. Male Strong Indian accent. Said they were from Optus business and wanted to get in contact with the person in charge of the telecommunications of the company, as optus has set up a new head office or something in the area.

Had a few conversations with this number. They have been trying to sell IPO’s and other stocks

Caller: Didn't state her name

Called asking for the boss saying her call was about a personal matter and to put her through to him immediately. Stated I could see her number has 251 complaints and I wouldn't be putting the call through. She hung up immediately

Some weird woman it went to message bank she said one word creepy message

I have been avoiding this number as I assumed it was a scam. After speaking with my tailor (Himark Tailors in HK), they said they use a computer to call so that's why the number is (08) 9119 2586. So I assume many businesses use this type of calling and all come through with the same number. Obviously some of them are scams, but others are just telemarketers.

This number phoned for first time today, and I used one of my numerous "funny answering messages," I have made up and I don't think they will phone again...

(02) 9119 2586 called. They asked for me by name, but I said I won't put them through to "him" unless they give me their ABN. They said they are not authorised to discuss this, so I said I couldn't put them through, sorry, bye. And if they did give me an ABN, I would have told them to wait while I do a quick lookup and investigation via ASIC and also the company website (plus a "whois" lookup, if necessary). And if all that checked out I would have asked for the caller's name so I could ring back via the company's published phone number. And if I wan't interested in the company's products/services, I would not ring back.

Number called me three times between 4:45 am and 5 am.
Thanks to everyone's advice in blocking this number!

3 calls in 2 hours - feel pretty safe blocking it

Unsolicited sales call - offering to set aside a parcel of shares that are about to list - I would quadruple my money. Apparently.

Wants to email me some information on cryptocurrency and the stock market. He already had my email address..... Told him I'm not interested. Brian Hick with an accent stated that he would email me anyway....

They are now calling to say they will remove our garbage for cheaper than the council can offer to come over to our place and look at the bins. when you say no then they offer phone appointment. They even had our old work address. Dodgy!

Continuously calling - even though when you call back and select option 2 to not be called again you receive a call again the next day.

some seminar- call centre- waste of time

I answered a call from this number and said hello, when I heard the delay and the weird accent I new it was a dodgy call, he asked if this John Smith, I said "Hello", he asked again if he was talking to John Smith, I said "Hello", he said "f*ck YOU, Did you hear that" and then hung up!
I laughed out loud.

This number has called me 8 times in the past hour claiming they could help me with my Telstra bills, as we don't have Telstra I told him to get lost politely, so now they just keep calling, so I blocked the number. But keep getting the messages that I am missing calls from them. Don't they ever give up 😝
