Just sing to them in a really loud and stupid voice. That's what I do to all of these damn scammers. This would a be a good one to go along with actually, and then tell them that you died in the accident and that they are presently talking with your ghost, and if they could just wait a moment, you will get your boss (The Prince of Darkness) to speak to them because he's very interested in buying insurance for his boat, which operates a tour business on the River Styx. Business has been affected by the Kraken, which was unleased accidentally by Tom Cruise when he was momentarily distracted by getting Peter to put his manners back in his head.

Just another attempted scam to add to the list.. As soon as he said about a car accident and insurance, alarms bells started ringing and I just hung up on the grub. Wish I gave him an ear full first. Would like to know how I get my details deleted from sites like this as it's probably where these scammers get the contacts from in the first place!

I got called by this company stating they were independent consumer board and that my insurance company shared my details with them in relation to an accident in the last 12 months, after a few questions about my insurance company and where they got my details from he said it was obviously third party information - he started to get heated with me after I kept asking him about where my details came from and when I confirmed I have not had an accident he got angry saying I should have said that in the first place and hung up on me.

Their looking for people who have had an accident so they can get the commission for handling the claim .
Pretty annoying if you have not had an accident but worth hearing out if you have .
I know people who used to do this back in England .

Exact same phone call to me as all the others. Pommy/Scottish accent calling up about my insurance claim from my motor vehicle accident, had no idea what he was on about. Hit him up for some details and he hung up straight away.

I have had two calls. I haven't had a car accident in years and years. They had an address of mine which I haven't lived at for 5 1/2 years. Thought the call was weird and apparently it is a scam.

Called me regarding a claim from my address. Kept telling them I thought it was a scam. Did not give any information. Ended up hanging up as he wouldn't stop talking. Says he is from Esure, a third party monitoring insurers.

Phone call following up on a call they made to me last week which I didn't receive anyway to say that I was involved with an accident and they needed to talk to me about my claim. I am an insurance broker so they were barking up the wrong tree. They said it could have been someone else in my household and when I advised them that this is not the case they said they would take my details off the database. Not sure what they are trying to achieve here

This number just called me on my mobile as well. Was a guy with a pommy accent. Enquiring about the motor vehicle accident I was in. 'Oh really?!' I said and he hung up on me. Never been in an accident. Total scam.
