We would like to confirm that calls from (02) 9094 2428 have been made by our Raffle Centre, and are not a scam.

Raffle fundraising is used for brigade grants throughout the year, sponsorship of RFS events, scholarships, chaplaincy and welfare. We work closely with the RFS chaplains to support firefighters in need.

We bring the ideas and opinions of our members to the RFS and Government using a collaborative approach, for more information please visit our website www.rfsa.org.au

In the current fire situation we provide practical support to RFS volunteers and staff in the form of additional meal options, clean t-shirts and care packs.

have been called by the number daily since 20 December 2019. answered them 2 january. They asked to speak to me by my name, thanked me for supporting them in the past & asked that I purchase some raffle tickets again. BUT they offered ticket amounts that cost way more than previously like 3 & 400 dollar lots. I asked them for a smaller amount, eventually was offered I think $40 book of tickets. they straight away asked which card I'd be using. As I was driving I said sorry can't do that now please send them like last time & I'll pay then. They quoted me my email address & said they would send there, they hung up quickly & they sounded annoyed. Never gave it another thought until I saw a report on facebook about this number being a scam. Then realised I never did receive the email with the tickets.. Lucky miss for me.

This is correct. I have personally called NSW RFSA and they have confirmed it is them (using a raffle call centre)

No reply . I have blocked this number a I am sure it is a scam from people trying to get money using the fire fighters. Too low a deed for me. Hope they have beencaught.

They called me four times in about an hour this morning... now that I've seen the comments from you guys, I blocked them.

Scam, trying to sell tickets for RFS. This is a scam!

Kept ringing my number 2 days in a row and woke me up from sleep. Didn't answer as I don't know who the caller is and didn't leave a message.

It is a scam. How can people do this at a time of crisis where so many people are losing everything?

This has been confirmed by the RFS as being a scam. They ask you to pay over the phone to be in a draw to win $25000 and they will double the number of tickets for you!😡😡

This number is a confirmed scam. People alleging to be selling raffle tickets for the RFS (the RFS are a bit busy at the minute and have not organised a raffle)
