Scammer claiming to be from the “technical department of Telstra” regarding my internet connection.

I don’t have any internet connection with Telstra

Answered and they were silent then ended the call.

Called claiming he was from Telstra and that my internet was not running at the correct speed and I needed to confirm the speed it was running.. The caller got aggressive when I wouldn’t cooperate with his ridiculous requests and proceeded to tell me to get f**ked and to go and shove a d**k up my ass!

claiming internet was running slow, when I questioned her she hung up.

Told me my telstra internet wasn't working, I'm with optus. Do not answer they try to get your card details. Scam Scam Scam!

Caller: They said they were Telstra

Scam call telling me they wanted to help speed up my Telstra internet connection! That would take some doing as I don't have one. Pure scam.

Claimed to be Telstra this time.Told him he was full of sh*t and hung up and blocked number

Didn't answer and didn't leave message. Glad I didn't answer after reading comments.

Got a call saying he was from NBN and was upgrading our line to fibre even though there is no fibre in the area. Call dropped out part way through and immediately rang back but came up on (08) 7092 2511. Obviously scammers.

The caller claiming that he is from telstra, told my telstra internet is slow and he is going to do a test to fix it. I asked him to tell my full name and address. Then he disconnected the phone. Definitely a scammer

Let it go to voicemail, 2 seconds of someone breathing on the other end, then they hung up. As above, scammers.

My phone was in another room, and it didn't get to it before they hung up. It didn't ring for very long and I didn't recognise the number, so I didn't ring back. Because it didn't ring for long, thought it was perhaps a scam.

Caller: Scam NBN Telstra Technical

Sounded like they are in a busy call center, said hello I’m calling from Telstra NBN technical area… I did not let the call get any further and hung up.

Called twice and hung up both times on answering. Unfortunately we are a medical practice so have to answer calls.

Offering me a better plan with Telstra - knew my name. Didn’t know what my current plan is though.

Guy claimed he was from Telstra and my internet connection was sending error messages and he was a technician who was in charge of fixing my problem, he said his name was Peter Lewis, I asked where he was from and he said Melbourne, I said no you are not you were not born in this country with that accent, he claimed to be born in Melbourne and he has a speech impediment , omg I almost wet myself, then I said well life in Deli must be tough these days and he hung up on me

Said they were telstra, calling on a non telstra service, with no telstra sevice associated, in noisy call centre
