Caller had thick Indian accent asked to speak to me by name then hung up. Yet another scammer for sure, block & ignore this number

Woman named Fiona with a strong accent (sounded Indian) talking about price changes to energy rebates on electricity bills. Didn’t let me get a word in until I pushed the issue and said I’m going to stop you there, I don’t pay electricity bills. The woman said “ok that’s nice, bye” and hung up on me. Just bizarre (and rude). expected to just be hung up on.

I asked her how did she get my number and she said from a survey then she hung up

they called, some one said "a**hole" and hung up

Every day from a different number asking for Julian. They send texts too. Julian, we have a parcel for you. Julian, we have your free Netflix account ready to go. I said, I'm not Julian. They hung up and called again the next day asking for Julian. Blocked.

I am just wondering why they call at all

Called from this number today - indian lady i got the business name and hung up not interested in sales cold calling. added to the block list of numbers i have stored now.

Now calling my business mobile! I hope blocking the number will give me some respite from these invaders of my private and business space.

Marketing /scam /nuisance

Just got a call from them, He said someone else name and when I said no I think you have the wrong number, he said "wrong number, right" and hung up!!!!!!! then when i called back the number is not in use! Do we know who these jerks are??????

Another time-wasting call. No reply. Cheap, recorded message when recalling them.
When you get (yet another) nuisance call, I think it is a good idea just to say to them: "Hello" (their reply is the usual "Hello") ... when they say this just pretend you didn't hear and say: "Hello, is there anyone there?" and then put the phone next to the radio, or boring lecture, and leave it there. Give them a dose of their own medicine!
