Man with an Indian accent rang earlier today and started the usual, "you have been in a car accident" bullsh*t. I told him to get lost and hung up on him. Tonight from the same number I had a call from a female, I hung up. Another stupid scam.

Scam - involves fictitious car accident.

Play sport with them to keep them on the phone so they can't rip off someone else

Supervisor spoke better English but cotton on when I told him the other car was a space ship

He said - But did you suffer any injuries

I said - Yes they took into their space ship and sucked my brain out.

He said - Oh go jump in the lake

I said - But I can't swim without a brain

At least he wished me a happy Christmas !!

Called several times today. Clueless and a scam.

Just had a call from this number on 20.12.16. A very accented woman advised I had been in an accident but the other driver was at fault. I readily agreed (knowing immediately this was a scam), and she obviously realised I was on to her scam and she hung up on me. The quickest scam conversation so far.

Indian with a very strong accent and speaking so fast that I couldn't understand a thing he was saying so I said speak slowly so I can understand then he went into the car accident spiel so I said "a car accident , really, I am blind , so F### off

We have had this number call both our businesses asking about car accidents plenty of times. At first they would call & we would tell them no & another person from the same place would call asking but most of the time when they hear the openeing line they would hang up straight away. It gets to the point where I will have to yell at them to stop calling because they call consecutively in the space of 20 mins. Every time the call it's a different person.
Definitely a scam. Is there any way that we can make this stop? Someone soon enough will fall for it (if they are that oblivious) & will get every cent stripped from them which isn't fair. Someone needs to stop this.

I just sick of tired of the Indian person/s ringing and harassing about a minor car accident that they said "we were involved in this year" from this number. When they were told, we believe this was a fraudulent called; we were challenged and we repeated this message to him, "the next time he/they ring, the conversion will be recorded and the police will be informed"; even if the call is coming from a private number when they ring again a few minutes later. This has been going on for sometime now. With the new anti scamming laws in place, this will be interesting to see if we are harassed again! Why can't this site be closed down automatically by the AFP fraud squad?

Scam call from agencies for claiming money on other party if you got car accident

Number just called. Since not a number that I recognised, I ignored.
After reading comments, glad that I did.

Spam. Avoid. Hang up.

Hung up after a few seconds after I answered

Had them call up the law company I work for today - stating i had a car accident, i played along to waste their time and when i started asking them questions about the car accident i was in they hung up

Luckily for us we have caller ID and i called them back and no answer. Just rang out and then cut out

This number called to tell me, my son got car accident.. I said will give he phone to police, he cut the line immediately.

Indian man from call centre stating that someone in the household had a minor accident. This is a scam!
