Hey Everyone,

I've had calls from these numbers, never answered them due to not being with my phone at the time, luckily (it seems from my research) I didnt call it back from my mobile.

To cut it short everything I've read says:

* Its a scam
* They Target Optus Customers

What to do to protect yourself?

* Save them to your phone under a obvious name so you wont answer them
* If you do answer them, Dont offer any personal details, e.g. Address. DOB Drivers Lisence number etc etc.

I had about 5 missed calls from this number this week, even at 8 at night! when i didnt answer, my voicemail kicked in and they put me on hold to blow out my voice mail! JERKS!

I got a call from a lady on this line. She said my mobile contract was running out and I had to do a verbal recording to recontract. I got my iPhone about 8 months ago so I know my contract is nowhere near finished. I asked what company she was from and the call terminated.

wHEN I CALED BACK THE NUMBER IT IS OF A GROUP CALLED ICT AUSTRALIA LOCATED IN SYDNEY AND IN OTHER MAJO CAPITOL CITIES AROUND  THE GLOBE THE MESSAE WHEN I CALLED REF TO THE GROUP WORKING  ON BEHALF OF OPTUS IN REGARDS TO NEW SERVICES AND OR PRODUCTS.

yea i got two phones and it so happens that the person called both of my phones.i picked up once and the person said they were looking for some random name and then i hanged up. a couple of days later the person called again on the same phone but i didnt pick it this time and put the number under the reject list of my phone.

everyone put this number under the reject list of your phone!!

I received a call from this number whilst asleep. I woke up and answered it and got the same bu***hit as above. I am contacting Optus tomorrow to ensure there is no hacking of my account and will be reporting it as such to the police.
