First it was a voice recording then I had to choose no1 cos that’s the only option and then I got curious 🤨 then when he started talking I knew it was a scam he was Indian and you don’t normally hear a lot of everything in the background when the REAL POLICEOFFICER calls you cos when the real ones call they don’t say “ this is police officer of Australia department” bruh you got to be stupid be saying that. So in our seconds of calling me in the fricken morning I said refer me to a much higher person the Indian caller got mad & I said I’m gonna disconnect straight away cos my husband said hang up it’s a scam. No information was given cos I’m not that stupid & I have a clean record.

automated message stating they are the national crime authority and my tax number has been suspended due to criminal activity.... something about bank accounts being accessed etc
Im not buying it. Pretty sure I would get a call rather than a robot if something was going on.

The voice says they are from the National Crime Something & they want your tax file number because they believe there is suspicious activity with your bank account. Just hang up on these scam calls.
