We have been getting these calls too, and they keep waking my husband up, he is a shift worker, wish they would stop

I get this call too. No message. Very annoying.

Got a call from this number so let my machine answer it because I didn't recognize the number. The person calling hung up without leaving a message. I figured it was most likely coming from a MONEY grubbing source and technique to get. I was right, from reading the comments left on this website. It SHOULD be AGAINST the LAW for Telemarketers to be able to phone people, especially asking for MONEY. I'm fine if they mail something, as it can easily be chucked in the bin. However, to phone your home, usually 99% to the time without your consent, charity or not, is a complete VIOLATION and INTRUSION, especially panhandling for MONEY. TOTALLY WRONG for the Government of Australia to allow THIS. SHAMEFUL.

Someone called but left no message

Rural Fire Service but I'm not sure if it's a fake as I get a lot of rural fire service calls and always from different numbers.

Several calls show up on caller id at different times of the day for last several weeks. My policy: if I don't know it, I don't answer it. Pretty fed up.

HOW TO STOP THESE CALLS: I have heard from a reliable source on how to stop these calls. When the phone rings, remove hand set from cradle & hit the hash key at least 7 times, very fast. I believe this makes your number drop off their list. Have tried it twice & have not heard back from them.

I also had a call from this number claiming to be calling on behalf of children's cancer charity. i asked them to remove my number from their list as soon as he had finished calling. I am also on the do not call list but sadly charities are exempt.

I just received the call and they say they are Life Surfing Foundation some sort. A pretend to be Charity.

Calls and hangs up-never leaves a message. Probably some ass hat with too much time on their hands.

Same thing here. They have called my home a few times and I have never answered. They leave no message either.

Phone line dead when fax answers the call. Obviously auto dialling

Answered the phone, silence for two seconds and call terminates.
