Rings then hangs up

These people ring five days of the week and its very annoying, if you answer no one is there. Have been wondering if its possible to have this no. blocked.

Stop calling - I simply will not answer your number.

After at least two phone calls a day for ages, I have just rung and asked to be removed from their calling list. If they keep ringing, I'll be ringing them again, but won't be so polite

Hangs up immediately when handset is picked up

This number calls me every week day at between 11 am and 12.30 pm and does not leave a message or respond when I pick up....frustrating...

I've done some investigating. Call 1800 801 647 - It's Express Publications and the operator was happy to remove my mobile number from their list. I will wait and see if that fixes it.

This number auto rings me everyday around 11:00am and when I answer there is no-one there!
This has been happening for the last 2 weeks and I would like it stopped.
I have tried ringing this number and get no answer.

I get a lot of calls from this number. If I answer, I hear some background noise (sounds like a call centre) and then it disconnects. Have never had a person say anything.

This number has rang me 2 days in a row on 2 separate occasions now.

First on the 15/08/11, I answered, just beeping noises and they hung up.
2nd on the 16/08/11, I missed the call, no message.
3rd on the 22/08/11, I answered, just beeping noises and they hung up.
4th on the 23/08/11, I answered, just beeping noises and they hung up.

So it would be good to know, or stop, if this these calls are sinister.

Everyday I get a phone call from this number on my land line. I get asked for  by name. When I advise "speaking" they hang up on me. Eventually I called them, to be advised that its a switch board. And the operator was very and non co operative. Has anyone proceeded further?
