I also have calls from this number, in the last week it has called 6 or 7 times. Its Optus trying to get you to join. Absolutely unacceptable!!! Disgusting from Optus

It's telstra auto dail to check the best time to call you and it should be illegal!

Grrr these calls are sooo frustrating.I used to be with optus but switched to vodafone then to virgin and ever since I get them, why? :(

Got 3 missed calls & voice messages from this number. Length 169 seconds, 34 seconds & 15 seconds. When I listened to this message, it's silent, no sound at all. It's annoying!!

this number keeps calling me! its really starting to anoy me!!!!!, when i answered they hung up on my and when i called back it was saying sothing about optus. since then whenever they call i just hang up. they call me about 4 times a day and i suggest if this number keeps calling you try and get it blocked, im thinking about doing this myself

Yeah, I have had 2 calls from this number in the last week too. Always after 7.00 pm which I don't bother answering since it is after business hours. I suspected it was telemarketers since they don't bother leaving a message. Will block them now. thanks

Have been receiving calls from this number for two weeks now. I keeep hanging up they ring back the next day. I am jack of it.

I too get these F'n calls through out the day, for the past year now, you would think they would get the message by now and send a letter re this 'fantastic offer' yeah as if. All i know is with the frequent calls daily these pricks are wasting my battery re vibrate, and if and when i need to either make a emergency phone call or receive one you find battery half dead. Just waiting for the day the poor door knocker comes with the offer cause they are going to know about it.

12 missed calls from this number in 3 days!!

I had a call from this number about 12 months ago, I answered and got a guy who said he was from optus and had a great deal for me, I listened and it sounded great so he asked me for my credit card details to change and I said "I don't think so buddy" and hung up. Havent heard from them for ages now I am getting missed calls from the same number 2 and 3 times a day, and I registered with the do not call register. These guys are a pain in the backside.

have been receiveing calls ferom this number daily between 12 and 2pm, when answered there is nothing said on the other end, so yesterday I decided to answer and not say a thing... I just left the call open on my desk.. FINALLY someone said HELLO!.. so I immediately asked to be put through to the manager... I guess they could not make any further calls because I had not hung up on my end... anyway they are Optus marketing etc.. etc.. blah blah blah.
The manager asked if I had spoken to the person on the other end about my concerns... What a tool!!! how could i when no one speaks. ANYWAY he has now removed my number from their listing.. to never receive a call from them again (lets see how long this will be for)
btw: the manager also advised that on the system he could see I had not answered my phone previously.. so i told him, what a lie and that was not true!!!

Im with telstra and i keep getting optus calls

6 calls this week and 2 last week. Made the mistake of answering the first one :( Have lodged an official complaint to Optus who have confirmed (verbally) it is an outsourced marketing group. So much for Do Not Call Register and also just one more reason I will never ever use Optus.
