Tell me about it! They keep coming up with new numbers so I block each new one but this sort of thing is a real pain in the backside.

"Me too, same numbers plus one this morning (02) 8599 0149 and many, many other on my landline" We should be able to do something about but no-one wants to help. Individual numbers can be blocked on mobile phones and the "Do Not Call" Register is completely useless.

I suspect its all on some automated system so that as the calls get blocked its shifts to a new number to call you on.I think its called predictive dialing "predictive dialers call numbers automatically and can help agents screen for busy signals, voicemail, no-answers and disconnected numbers". The dilaers are voive sensative so that if you do answer a call it senses voice and relays it to the spammer or call centre person to take the call. That is why there is sometimes a wait after answering.

3rd unsolicited call of the day. Had 4 yesterday, 3 the day before and 5 the day before that. All from the same area code. I don't answer them, and block the numbers but they just call from another number. I can play this game for a long time, I bet they'll get sick of it before I do.

I am constantly getting phone calls from these people and every number they call me on I block but somehow they just keep calling on new numbers so I finally answered and told them I’m not interested and hanged up. I asked if they are from Canberra and they bluntly lied to me. Something about me recently entered a competition about winning a Jeep and needed more info.

Calls coming from a call centre, same woman different numbers, I just hang up, annoying

All variations on (02) 8599 0149 never answered them until they left a message saying it was a very urgent private matter they needed to discuss. I rang back wouldn't tell me who they were unless I gave them personal details. Told them to stop ringing they still do anytime from 0600 to midnight I keep blocking them but a new number appears. I feel like I'm being stalked. At the stage of changing my number

This and other numbers calling numerous times a day. Have blocked all of them but new numbers keep calling. Never answer. Look them up on this site and block.

SPAM. Friends & acceptable callers are named in my contact list. If an un-named call comes in, I simply dont pickup. My msg "greeting" says that if they dont lv a msg, it's unlikely they'll get a call back from me. These un-named callers become titled as DO NOT ANSWER and they're ignored.
