Just had a phone call from this number 85833631 - claiming to be from Dodo - I said to her promptly not interested and hung up - I have added the number to my auto rejection list on my mobile phone.

These guys scam you into entering an online competition for Bunnings etc and sell your information to any company stupid enough to think you would ever deal with them after being scammed. They may do better if you could understand what they say when calling. PS: Who would be silly enough to give the correct birth date or last name, morons.

Have missed a few calls from this number. Answered today and they said they were from Dodo. They wanted to talk about the NBN rolling out in my area. I told them I already had the NBN and was happy with my provider so thanked them for the call. They interrupted me and asked who my provider is - I politely explained that is my business, not theirs.

Similar to others that were getting online quotes for car insurance. The day after searching on the Internet the calls started coming in from Dodo and others. The main lesson I learned is to not use websites such as iselect and comparethemarket.com.au. Once you enter your info to get a quote then the calls come in thick and fast. Another thing that I found strange was the question that was asked about if I owned a house or rented? What that got to do with car insurance? Anyway they can keep calling and I don't answer.

Caller said he was from Dodo, letting me know that the NBN had just been connected in my area. Then he asked for my address so that he could check if NBN was in my area?????? IDIOT. We are actually with Dodo so I said that they already have my address - he replied "no, we don't keep any details" - RUBBISH! Then he asked "who is your internet provider?" -Duh & Duh again! If he really was from Dodo, he would know the obvious, don't cha think?! I did call Dodo & they didn't seem to know anything about this caller - advised not to give any info over the phone & that the only time they asked for information is to verify who you are when YOU call THEM .

If Indian scammers could put curry sauce into your PC, they would ! Abuse them as much as you can and say you have already given their details to the police.

Dodo called me after I filled out an online survey - which is fine, but I could tell the gentleman was reading off a screen, because every time I asked a question, he responded with something that had nothing to do with the question. He started the conversation by telling me I had been selected for a free tablet. I asked what I had to do to get it. Then he told me it's $10 p/month. Offered me a deal on my mobile plan- I asked him to send me an email. He said he doesn't have capabilities to do that and I would have to sign up over the phone with his special code. Then he asked which type of id I would be using when the man delivers my new sim... passport or drivers license. Alarm bells went off - why the f*** would you need my license number or passport number? Told him I didn't feel comfortable giving that info over the phone, he tried to say "But you have my id number and my name".. so what??!!
Obviously a scam..
