I know it was a scam because I missed that call but a call came today from 85525394 - scammers have probably bought or spoofed a block of numbers starting 8552. Other call was from “Robert from master Visa card” - Indian sounding accient and there was silence then he dropped the phone before fumbling with it. I asked “who is this” and he told me. I didn’t wait for the spiel but said I don’t think so and hung up and blocked it.

Caller: Says from Commonwealth Bank

I don't bank with CBA. Scam call!!!

An Asian man calling himself John claimed to be from NBN. I told him I thought this scam had ended months ago and he hung up.
