I've had several calls from this number. Most;y I've been in the train when I answered and they hung up. Also had a missed call

The same here.....never answered though coz i'm pretty sure it's some telemarketing which i've said NO to before too many times. They tried to ring me few times every single day!! It's annoying!!

I got a call from these scum today.

But one ploy I am using these days against india-based all centres is this. I pretend I can't understand them very well, and actually say I am having trouble with their accent.

The call centre staff hate it, because it questions their value as an employee if their supervisor is listening. Try it.

Selling funeral insurance. Got my name and number from an organisation that sells client lists gathered under false pretenses through online competitions. I entered a competition, ticked only one item, said no to all of the rest and have received over a dozen calls since then from the organisations I said NO to.

Just received a call from this number. Funeral insurance. I asked how they got my name and number, he said from a partner organisation aka data collection agency. I recently entered a competition and ticked only one item from the accompanying survey but have been receiving calls from all of the companies I said no to, this one included. Really annoying and I wonder is it legal since I ticked NO.

Shut up white people.

Rung today by this number, blocked them. Rung yesterday from (03) 8001 7102 blocked them too. Please feel free to list other numbers they use so we can pre-emptively block them.

(02) 8417 8001. Hi everyone. Yes this no. is a fake. It is attached to an indian call centre. if you have signed up to a gym, a pet supply, pet store, maybe even a Vet Clinic. I'll even go so far as to say - your local council. These places sell their client list for a fee. I have a silent mobile no. since '97. All of a sudden over the past 2 weeks I have received a telemarketers calls from india - by the same people - wanting to sell me pet insurance. On both occasions they stated I have a "cat" under the age of 9. Well the only place they would have got that info from would be 1). The Vet Clinic I take the cat to. 2). Pet Stock (where I buy pet supplies from or 3).shock horror and I would put it past them - by local bloody council. Why the council - well they are the ones who have all the details about my pet, age, sex, name etc. I'm going after all three with a vengeance. As both the Vet and Pet Stock state - they don't "sell" client lists to anyone. So everyone be mindful - when filling out forms of any nature and what you put on them - because people/organisations will do anything to make a fast buck. Also - when I called back a 2nd time - they told me the doing some "telemarketing" for a company called Australian Referral Service. Google that and see what you come up with. I got that it was part of the Aust. Govt. - hog wash!

They keep calling even after i informed them that i am not interested in any insurance. They promised me atleast 7 times ( 7 diff. tele marketers) that the will remove my name from the list but they still calling me.
