Caller: Solo Network

This organisation are UNETHICAL and NASTY, August last year they called my mother and hassled her about changing her NBN provider. She asked for them to forward her information so she could forward it to me. Instead they ported her ADSL and Landline to their company without permission and started forwarding her accounts which were twice as expensive as the provider she was using. The first she knew about the porting, was when she received a bill in October from her original provider with termination of contract fees. She contacted her original provider (Telstra) and requested that they reconnect her to the bundle that she was originally contracted to. Solo Network continued to bill my mother, threatening her on the phone, threatening her with disconnection and threatening her with a "Credit Default Listing Notification". In 6 months the account escalated to over $750.00. I lodged a complaint on my mother behalf with The Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman (TIO). The complaint contained my details, and no sooner did I lodge the complaint then they started to ring my phone with intimidation and threats. They even stated that it was my obligation to pay the bill as my mothers Representative. These people are manipulative, ruthless and totally heartless in the way they chase vulnerable people. In the past week, with the help of the TIO negotiating between myself and Solo Network, all monies outstanding have been written off, with no further communication between Solo Network and my mum forthcoming and no Credit Default Listing being lodged. This whole situation was not helped with TELSTRA, I and my brother spent hours on the phone or at a TELSTRA SHOP trying to sort this out, with so many departments and call centres off shore, getting consistent information was impossible. Anyone else caught up with Solo Network, please go through the TIO and be patient, keep notes. Better still just don't pick up the phone and block the number asap.

Missed a call from this number and no message was left, so I called back and reached "Solo Network". The dim-sounding man said he had no idea why they hadn't left a message (as if they ever do!) but it would have been about a discount on my phone. In a rage, I told him what I thought of that, and demanded that they never call me again.
So they called back the next day at the same time, and then again in the evening, though I'd blocked the number by then.
These are persistent pests, and because the number seems to exist I have reported the calls to the Do Not Call Register.

Caller: Caller from Solo Network claimed his name was Jack.

Requested details of the plan which never arrived. I did report this to scam watch. Now almost 3 months after phone call I received an account which looks very legitimate however it has no itemised phone calls and only Landline charges. A complete scam.I will notify scam watch again!

Scam. Foreign voice. Said he was from the phone company I was with. Didn't say which. Offered me a new deal. Kept asking questions trying to trick me into giving a "yes" answer but I was on my guard.
I left the phone off the hook for 5 - 10 minutes without hanging up so that he wouldn't be able to ring & annoy someone else for a while.

They phoned and my wife took the call, sadly she is trusting and I took over and told them to bugger off. That did not stop them from ringing again... this time I was not as polite as my wife.

I can't use the words appropriate for these scamming vermin. I blocked this number days ago, but they still try to call - again and again and again, including in the evening. It's like a plague that no one seems to have the ability or the will to exterminate.

Had not had a call from this mob for ages. It's the same story, government solar initiative..blah, blah, blah!
I told them not to bother as I have solar..but apparently, it's not good enough!!
Told them not to call me again..and now I wait for the ongoing continuous calls.....and go.!

How do I block this pest caller/s forever? Some days he or she called 4 or 5 times in between 5 minutes apart offering whatever cheap deal on electricity that I have no interest in!

This number calls at least twice daily. Nobody on the line. Always let it ring out now and they never leave a message. Has to be scammers who are wasting our valuable time. Don't know what they want or how to get rid of them
