yeah the dogs just rang me yesterday, and then again today! asking for info. they already knew my name and address. they hung up on me today cos i kept asking with whom they were affiliated. he said they were part of the government. what a joke. hopefully someone catches and prosecutes these scum!

I've had 6 phone calls telling me I had a minor accident in the last 2 weeks. Now it's last 6-12 months. I asked whose calling "road care" number caller id (02) 8355 9972. I never give my name or confirm any details with the caller and never say "yes". I've not had a minor or other type of accident. When I tell them this is a scam call and police will be notified they immediately hang up. The caller have a heavy accent and can't pronounce my name correctly. I've asked to speak to the supervisor and am told I already am. When asked why would a supervisor do a lower persons job of calling. They hang up. Never confirm any details. Never give any details. Tell them your going to the nearest police station to sort it out and they hang up.

I had the same call twice in two weeks and if you ask them for details they just hang up f*cktards

I have spoke to this so called road care today also, what happens if they get your rego details?

Oh crap I've been guliable and just spoke to these guys coz I was in car accident! What happens if you do give them your rego number?

I have just had a phone call from road k uk. They asked if I was that person and I replied, "yes I was." They told me that they have $30,000 dollars waiting to be paid to me for a minor accident that I was invoked in. They also knew my address as they told me the area where I had the accident. It sounded like a scam to me.

These dudes called today, fast talking claimed I was also in an accident. I knew this was a scam and was interested in how it would play out. They quoted an address that I lived at 9 years ago, he then asked for my new address. I said I wasn't sure and asked him if he would do the same in my shoes, he replied of course he would if there was money available. So I asked him for his address as I would share the money with him, he asked why, I said because I am a kind person too and so I could come around and visit now and then, he said he was in Unit 9 and only named my town, no street address just number 9 hahahah. Full scammers, have fun wasting their time, I had a great laugh, I don't even own a car.

I had a call and I gave my home address and car rego no .. now what ? but I haven't given any bank details ...

I've just received a phone from the same phone number & the same thing, they knew my name & home address but the funny thing is, I actually was in a car accident in the past 12 months. They told me they would ring back in the next half hour. I actually spoke to two different guys too.

i had a call today from road care, told me that i was in a car accident in the last 12 months in my suburb that i live in, did not want to tell me the time, day or street. Told me that i would recieve $50000.00 by a cheque. They asked if i recieved a letter, told them to send it again and i will investigate, The caller who only make outbound calls, said they were not a scam-what a joke!!!!. I asked how he got me number and my name, he said from the police report or the ambulance- what a load of rubbish. They hung up as i was not giving them any information, whether i was or was not involved in a car accident

Just had a call on my mobile from someone at Roadcare. They said I'd had a road accident in the last few months. I said no I hadn't. They said OK and hung up. The number was (02) 8355 9972. Scary thing was that he knew my name.

Also the same but rang my husband instead and asking for me. How on earth do scam artist like these guys get anyone's info. I'm just glad my husband didn't give them any info coz he is a blonde lol. Any hu I rang the number and just like everyone said the same flipping company Scam Artists need dealing with next time they ring on going to give them all fake info and see how far it goes then hit them with F off you f'n scammer scums leave us the hell alone but not without their name and all info on their company.

Be careful as this is a scam under investigation currently. They are called roadcare uk and will try to get info out of you.. Block their number

I just had a call from 'Kevin' too. For my son, who uses my phone number sometimes and they knew his address too. I told him I would ring him back, but or course they don't take incoming calls, so he's calling me back after I find our if my son was in an accident. He said he was in Capetown. I challenged him on how odd it was and that my son was under 18 and knew nothing of his accident!

Just got a call from this number sounded like road k uk but after coming across this site I believe it to be road care uk. I am puzzled how the hell did a British firm find out we had an accident. Which, for the record, was serious hail damage which got fixed. What a bunch of twats. How do we get off the list this would be the fifth or sixth time my wife and I have been called.
