Number called - I answered and it hung up. Dodgy.

download the app truecaller and it automatically rejects those calls. Without adding them to any list. It helped me alot. Good luck

keep getting calls and they hang up so now they are blocked

Based in Hong Kong
If you enter data into the opt out section of the site will will get Spammed by every scammer in the world

Bunch of tossers - answered once last week and told them I not interested in their telco solution and was quite polite about it. since then, they have been ringing and hanging up - blocked the number. useless twats

This number called Wednesday night, on our home line which we keep as we have family overseas. It came up as overseas, then the numbers 061 2 8355 8965. Rang again just before and I answered it thinking it was my father in-law in England, as I didn't check the number before answering. Some survey company who no doubt have bought the number off Telstra, but are actually located overseas. Foreign accent. Scam.

Phoned me several times. When I answer they hang up.

all the time they hang up on me as soon as I pick up the phone. blocked them. bastards!

I've got to the point now that if I see an incoming call with a 8355 prefix, I just don't answer at all. Seems they have a string of numbers with that prefix that they call from, and I add them to my blocked list as fast as they come in. Hugely frustrating!

Just literally hung up on one, having got sucked into the "few minutes it would take". I explained I was on my way to an appointment and politely ask for another time to call. She (assuming overseas call centre) went ahead...
Soon it became clear the "survey" what all about my financial position and variety of charities I maybe willing to support.
After the 4th question I interrupted and said this is cleary all about money and that you are wasting your time with me and that I am in serious debt and living week to week, going as far that I am filling bankruptcy.
Regardless, the operator said she understood. Yet persisted to get me interested in charities and buying insurance.
I said that all of my answers will be NO so why go on? And then started up again.
In the end is said you stated this would take a few minutes and I was almost 10. She would not listen. I said I want to talk to talk to your supervisor about how stupid you are! She stared to babble so I hung up and blocked this number,

I think it is the same sort of scam as "like" farming except this one is answer rates. If they can show they get x amount of answers for a prospective target of their scam. I just put every number they ring me on straight to the reject list.

Why didn't you block the number?

This number calls every day. How can we stop it!

I have rung it back it's a survey company that says they well ring back. They never actually right anyway must only get one call than that's it
