This is part of a range on number used by a call centre called Contact Centre Australia. The are contracted by the SES Volunteer Association, which has nothing to do with buying equipment, they are a conference held to "discuss" concepts, but with no input to government.
Call Contact Centres Australia (they will answer as "SES Association". Their number is "1-(03) 0070 7344" and have them add you to their "Do Not Call Register" Keep calling till they finally stop.

I just received a call from this number wanting to sell me RAFFLE TICKETS for the SES to raise funds.
The SES does not solicit phone calls to raise funds.

Missed call then within 5 mins a call from "overseas"; foreign speaking person asking for me then claiming to be from "Grand Council of Australia" - after I told him incorrect; he was calling from overseas; I'll report him to police; dead line. Anyone else receive similar calls? Thank you.
