Claimed they were an insurance company and I had some compensation following a vehicle accident. Car is advertised on Gumtree so got the car rego from there, car has never been in an accident. Get a life scammer.

Called and claimed to have compensation for an accident I was in - wanted details about the accident but I said they should have those details if they really are linked to my insurance company. Total scammers.

I have a car listed for sale on Gumtree, this number called and claimed the car (they told me the plate number which they clearly got from the advert) had been in an accident and I was owed $10,000 in compensation from the other party lol
It’s never been in an accident and actually belongs to my father (I’m selling it on his behalf) so the only link to the plate and my phone number is the advert. They claimed to be from Alliance insurance.
