This is scam.

The person tried to obtain my bank account number.

The person said that I am qualified for motor accident compensation. It is required me to provide bank account details in order to receive the compensation.

This number keep calling me, most of the time after 5pm, don't know what they want!

They keep calling me. I havnt answered. Funny thing is i was involved in a car accident two days before their first call a few weeks ago lol. How do they get our numbers and names? What do they want? ?

Husband received a call while at work. Didn't realize who it was from. Coincidentally I've been in an accident and he said call my wife not thinking anything. I never got a call but they called his phone back a few hours later while I was with him. The guy (bad English) said he's from "Follow Up Services" calling from an address (he stayed 500 and something and the street name) in St Kilda. I asked which accident he was calling about (only been in one but wanted to see what he actually knew, if anything). He stated the most recent. I advised they were close together and if he knew the date and he advised he did not know but wanted to "confirm" accident details. How can you confirm info you don't have? When I asked why it was an 02 number he said he's from Melbourne. I pushed again and advised it would be 03 and not 02. I also explained 02 would be in New South Wales and he responded, "I'm not in South Wales". The guy doesn't even know the country!

spam. i called back then it just rang once and buay tone

This number called me and hung up. Tried to ring it back rang once then disconnected

Asked if I had any damage to my car . I hung up

Called multiple times over a few months trying to say I had an accident and wanted yo speak in regards of it SCAM

I called back this number (02) 8188 3755 didn't even ring waited then phone line was dead.

Saying they are following up. Telcom companies should find the frauds

Said I had been in a accident within the last three years and when I said no asked if it was a member of my family. When I said no one had any issues then closed the call. Had my contact details including address.

they just call me and said the manager is going to call

Just had a call and no one replied when I answered. Will put them on my Auto reject list.

I told them it was a scam threatened them with the police and they cut me off talk about RUDE

My theory is it is a scam. They called my mother saying the exact same spiel as everyone else that she was involved in an accident and could get compensation.

Claimed to be from "Insurance Recovery Services"; then said that I was entitled to a payout from a motor insurance claim as the result of a motor accident "within the last 3 years"
I haven't been in any motor accidents ever.

Wouldn't give me details about where the claim came from, couldn't tell me who my insurance company was.

I got called from these people today. Ruby (filipino lady) informed me the call was in relation to an accident I had up to 3yrs ago. When I asked her full name and the company she worked for she hung up and blocked my number. Smells like a scam big time.
