He told me that I have 27% discount on my electricity bill. I said thank you. he said said to confirm my name and my telephone number and asked for my date of birth. I said no, it is confidential and I rang off

Calling me everyday and hangs up after I pick their call.

until they ask for one of your id numbers or a passport number or medicare.

they have all your information already if they are calling you

try asking for a website, without giving over your email, its a funny conversation if you dont get sick of the repetitive script.

Hung up once I answered. Have had several similar numbers call and do the same thing this week.

Caller: Electric provider

I couldn’t get a word in. He went on about finding a better electricity provider but wouldn’t let me talk so I hung up on him, then blocked the number.

I rang once and got disconnected
