they tried to call, didnt answer dont know how they got number as is a state govt department issue ph....glad didnt anwer doubt they know my name.

Phone number (02) 8104 1014 and other mentioned on this post I was told get your phone number from Australian Data Services (http://www.australiandataservices.com.au) datasets, but they themselves have no phone contact number. Where they "vaccum up" the number from is another annoying business practice. Just wish all these companies would do some proper work and not waste peoples times -- links to insurance companies, no wonder -- rats of the business world!

Auto reject is easy - my husband also used Avast to block this number for me.

I have been getting missed calls from this number over last couple of weeks and when i do answer there is no one there straight away, so i hang up.

Selling Insurance.
Told them i wasnt interested and asked to be taken off their contact list.
I was told that would be done and i wouldn't be contacted by them again.
So........we'll see.

these annoying people called me in the middle of dinner and they wanted to know about my insurance policy and wanted to know my age, where i live and what my educational status was. this man i couldn't understand and they said that they where from new dehli india and they get the phone call diverted from there "HQ". i asked him if he gets well payed being a scammer and he instantly said "oh no no no its not like that" (even though i could barely hear it) so i hung up and then called the number back and another foreign girl (but with a more like Australian accent) answered and i had a go at her saying that i had got numerous calls from them even though they said they were to add my number to the "No Call Numbers" so she said that she will add it to the no caller list and if she doesn't or i get another call i will DEMAND to speak to a manager or a person higher above her. then number was (02) 8104 1014

Don't know who, but this number was blocked by me a while back so I only get a record of the attempt to call. Number gets cut off.

they kept on asking if you required funeral insurance... very annoying and they are a call centre in India.

I had a call from them yesterday and another one now.
The best way to get them off the phone is to pretend to be interested in their "product" but interrupt them and tell them that before they continue, you are required to disclose to them that all your calls are being recorded and tracked by the police. Then casually ask them to continue their offer. They will immediately back track, apologise and then they end the call.
I did this today and the guy apologised and said he could not continue the conversation and would remove my number from their database and they will never call me again.

(02) 8104 1014 rang me wouldnt leave message simply hang up. Absolutely sick of these type of phone marketing companies. Number now blocked, many thanks to everyone for detailing your experiences. This type of behaviour is now a daily occurrence sadly

So the only thing I have done different prior to receiving a numerous calls from this number and many others is use "COMPARE THE MARKET" for a better deal on my health insurance. I even ticked the do not pass on my information box before submitting.
