Possibly a scammer. I received a phishing phone call. Saying i had compensation awarded for a car accident six months ago. The other party was at fault and they owed me 7,000 dollars. Strange since the other party was a kangaroo

Just got a call from this number claims we were in a car accident just another number on my block list

Received a call this afternoon from a lady, poor English claiming l was due compensation for an accident l had last year. Scam!!!

They rang me today. It is a scam BUT I now going to ring the Ombudman's department because someone who more gullible could loose money

They're still at it. I do wish they'd get a real job instead of spending time trying to scam people

Someone has called several times. Hang up when I tell them no one here has had an accident

My husband took a phone number this afternoon, from a person claiming that a Compensation claim had been lodged against our address. It appears to be another scam. BEWARE!!!

got this phone call asking about a car accident we were meant to be involved in a year ago but wouldn't give details, I kept asking her to confirm where she was calling from and why, she hung up on me.

Female told me they were calling because I entered a competition and they needed me to help with market research. Hung up when I asked for details of the competition.

The caller didn't even know the name of the person she was calling. I continued to ask who she was calling and she said the person who answered the phone. BLOCK the scammers thi

So sad that these overseas scammers need to stoop this low to earn a living. My question is, where do they get this information? Yes, we had a claim, we were run into in a parking lot, we weren't even in the car at the time. It was fixed, all good. How did they get this information? Who, from the insurance company is selling it to them? Surely that's the question.

Called up multiple times talking about a car accident I recently had about a week ago and asked for more information about it. Organised for his "solicitor" to call me the following day. Just another scammer.

Had a call from female with very poor English language skill saying that I or a family member had an unpaid motor accident claim in the last 9 months that they could help with , they had no details of vehicles , time & place or insurance company involved , they will eventually get lucky an find someone that fits the brief and is gullible enough to pay an upfront fee for service and no doubt give bank details for claim to be paid into.

Received a call re compensation for a supposed accident 12 months ago, strange thing is there was no accident. Just another scam!
