Caller: (02) 8091 0103 They rang my mobile after the dinner hour. My mobile number is on the Do Not Call Register. What part of that don't they understand & where do they get off, unsolicited calls on Thursday night?

Caller: (02) 8091 0103 however, they disguise behind plenty of other Phone Numbers. Purpose of these robocalls - They are not interested in you personally, hence once answered or called back the System hang up on you - just upgrading their phone register then sell again to Marketeers, just a money spinner for them.

I agree. In the past year I do not answer any phone calls to my landline or mobile If I dont know who they are. If they leave a message, I will check that number via this website first, Even if its family or friends numbers that I do not know. If they dont leave a message, well then it wasnt important. I get up to 5 calls a day. its very annoying I am even on the do not call register.

Caller: Scam or survey Phone rang at 7pm. I answered line went dead. Checked number through this site and found it to be a filthy survey company. placed number in my phone - "not to answer'. If it occurs again I will submit a complaint.

Half a message left on our answering machine on a Sunday afternoon. From the few words that had recorded, it sounded like a poll for our (not yet date announced) general election...

Caller: This lot of empty-heads Again, no message - I check if I don't recognise the number and from the other comments, I won't return the call! Thank you for taking the time to report these nuisance callers - there seem to be hundreds of "Oz based???" who have acquired what looks like an Oz prefix - yet are calling from Timbuktu or some other overseas destination!! Grrrrr!!

Robocall claiming to be from MediaReach.com.au doing a "age demographic survey", no doubt as a preface to more phone calls. Now blocked.

Poor Telstra don't have the finances or racecourses. Too busy stashing away Billions of dollars to pay the CEO. I did not answer the number but Googled instead.

I'm not sure what was said but I am sure it was not complementary . Don't answer the call unless you recognize the phone number

Caller: Telemarketing Scam Call I got one of these calls yesterday (16th March 2019 @ 4:55pm) didn't answer as I had my phone on silent, no message left, upon calling back...... Legitimate Marketing Company - calling themselves "TeleReach" more like "Telescamreach", as they specify an email address and their site, both are non-functional. The email just bounced (Mailbox Full) and their site is a joke - 404 Not Found Error. Legitimate my A$$. A website and email address to be "unavailable" at anytime is a siren for me, telling me that the company is either fake or otherwise a scam.
Should you get a hold of these pricks, advise them they are calling illegally and explain why ;), I can almost bet they won't call again - provided you get an "actual" person on the line :|.
Cheers, and have fun ;)

Called landline on 16th March, mentioned the word "marketing"...I waited on the line for a few seconds to see what they would say, they promised the survey would be very quick...when they asked the first question, was I enrolled to vote, I hung up...wasn't going to do the survey anyway, but was curious to see what they were going to ask. If they call again, will block number on phone.

Caller: Some scammers by the looks of it I also don't answer my home phone anymore. Its now just and emergency phone to call out. Why dose the Minister for communication let these scammers rip off australian's and why do the phone company's let their calls go through. They must be making money from the scammers as well.
