EX Insight Worker

Posted on April 11, 2014

I was previously employed by the highly immoral Insight CFS. Basically what the company is doing is cold calling elderly senile Australians and intimating/pressuring them to purchase raffle tickets via credit or debt card for a charity such as the PCYC or RSPCA etc, which cost $1000.00 dollars or less. I am embarrassed to admit that I once worked for Insight CFS, and I feel so dirty. Hangup, if Insight CFS call you.

PFO PCYC

Yea I got a call from this number today and they ring once and hang up. I am also on the do not call list, but they just ignore this. However this behaviour is harrassment and should be dealt with by the Police. Craigs story about his Mum being ripped off for $200 by the PCYC is just disgraceful. You need to call the TV stations to put this on the news, to prevent this from happening again. SO PCYC PFO

Had a missed call from this number today at 5:22 pm I feel harassed because I have a silent number and also on the do not call register. I don't think charity's should be exempt.

Bloody charities exploiting their exclusion from the no-call register.

We should have a no-call register for them too.

I think these people hope you call back sa part of their strategy. Grrrr.

This number calls continuously and hangs up half the time.  The other time they identify them selves as the PCYC

What ever you do, do not give to these animals.
My 67 year old mother often gave $20.00 to the
PCYC as she felt good that it was helping troubled children.
Every second month or so, she liked to give to a few charities,
but these days is getting a little forgetful when it comes
to her money and budget. My wife and I were beside ourselves
last month when we found mum to be with not any food in the house.
Somehow, the person from this number PCYC, got $200.00 out
of mum, who Is on a single pension. These people are nothing more
than common criminals. How on earth could they think that she could
give such an amount, when for years she always gave $20.00. My wife
has since taken this to our local member of parliament, as the money
was taken from mums debit card. Be warned.

I donot like this call. I am not sure that how the commpany know my number

No money from me

Guggi, just remember the charity you first bought entries for in their raffle from Insight, your details were taken and specifically called for their other charities. This is illegal.

Your details may not have been sold, but you details have gone to their 8 or so other charities they call for. And you now give money constantly to 2 or their charities because they used methods which are illegal.

And forgive me, their job is to hound you, and that's what they were doing.

Just remember that granny on the phone saving $30 of her pension money she really cannot afford to give away, but thinks it will help puppies at the RSPCA, well 30 cents in te dollar of it will, the rest goes to people like Elle who's job it is, is to get money out of you.

So really where do you think and how much do you think goes to the people in need?

Guggi

It's not the Police ringing you, it's the PCYC, who are a youth organisation run by the Police. They are a legitimate charity and are exempt from Do Not Call Register rules as they are a charity, as are all charities. They have to raise money somehow and this is how they do it. I came onto this website today because I wondered what the number was also (given I've had many missed calls over the past 2 weeks). My suggestion? Ring them direct (not on the number they ring on) and ask to be removed from their phone list. I did this with The House With No Steps about a month ago and no more calls since. It works!!Failing that, pay your phone company the $6.00 a month for Caller ID and then ignore the call when it comes through (as you'll recognise the number). It's the only solution we have, as all charities are exempt from the Do Not Call Register rules and are free to call us as often as they like.I hope this helps people?

Just had a call from that number myself - person hung up before I could answer.
