What do they do with the information anyway.?

I received a fax from this number today purporting to be from Lisa Smith of the Australian Register of Who's Who.  The fax had no ABN/ACN, no telephone number and no website.  I am therefore pretty sure the fax is a scam as it was not addressed to me.  Surely if this mob was for real, they would have discovered my name from their research.  Also, they would have known that I no longer run a business, and have not done so for many years.I think that what they are really after is (a) information and (b) suckers.Kevo

from Benalla Vic. Also received a fax from this number this morning. Was dodgy from the start: no address, proper business name, return phone number and the fax was addresses to a manager/director. Also it just keeps trying to print - says it's in the memory and keeps trying to print again and again.  Have to search out the manual to find out how to clear the memory.  Like I have spare time to do that!!
