7.09pm Answered, no one there.....rang back number not connected SCUM

this number call today, then hung up when i answered, i called back to find this number is disconnected???

Missed the call. No message. When I rang the number back 'the number you have called is not in service". Guessing spam. Why can't something be done to stop these people. I'm smart enough to realize they are scum but some people get caught out. Why can't we complain to our providers and they disconnect them. ???

I now have a listing of since 23/6/17 of 45 numbers, some of which have called multiple times, several times a day. I now don't answer any calls on my landline and let the phone ring. Naturally, NONE OF THESE CALLERS LEAVE A MESSAGE. What can I do to block these callers? It appears as though when you don't answer, they somehow get other numbers and continue the aggravation. Don't know what it achieves when they hang up if the call is answered. Love to get my hands on the sods!

Showed on missed call list as overseas followed by the 02 number. No message left. Having read the posted comments from those that have answered a call I have now blocked this number. I don't know what setup is used to show an id as overseas followed by an aus number. Phone companies are probably making money out of our misery.

I will take legle action if you call my number again.

Male with accent said he wanted to give a "financial check" when he called the first time.

2nd call today - again male with accent said he was from Tax Office.

My guess scam caller - just hung up and blocked number.

same thing again, robot dialing machine and hangs up on you when you answer. always busy when you call back!

Probably a cold call. The number rang, I answered it, but nobody spoke, then after about 30 seconds, it hung up, so I presume a robot caller.
