rang and disconnected when answered

Didn't answer, and they hung up when they got the answering machine. Blocked.

Caller: fund raising charity

Just mongrels ringing saying they are from a fund raising charity well its fun when they ring back and their line drops because its blocked "idiots"

So "leading" they don't identity themselves.Told them my no: was on the do not call register, and she wants to argue it doesn't apply to them.hang up and block.

I let it ring out and returned call on the work phone. Recorded msg says they are a leading charity.... yeah maybe.. block it anyway

Scammer, another number blocked

I NEVER answer calls from numbers my address book does not know. So . . . . . . . .
Please, do not answer calls from unknown numbers or this plague of nuisance calls will never stop. Don't call back. If they were legitimate callers and actually wanted to speak to you, they would have had the courtesy to leave a message, wouldn't they?

I miss call. Not bother to call back because of unknown number.

Robocall. No message - just interruption and nuisance. Now blocked.

Called back later in the day, VM said 'Leading Charity Fundraiser'.
My attitude - If they are not prepared to leave a message, they are not worthy of speaking to.
Disregard the number.
May be a charity, may not be, treat as a mongrel scammer.

Call frequently - never leave a message

Calls arrive every other day, no sound for a few seconds and then a sound like a recording gone wrong and then it hangs up.

Missed the call and called back. They were unable to take a return call but the call was from a leading charity(not given) and they will callback.
