Voice recording for Virgin mobile calling if i am happy with their service. Weird, I am not with Virgin mobile.

I called back number (02) 8049 8940 reached IVR for a company called Virgin Mobile.

Called me regarding optus

Caller: Optus 5g support

Was Benny from the Optus 5G team following up as I signed up to a 5G service and 28 days had passed, was checking up on the service. All above board.

Caller: Optus

Sydney number. Left msg saying the caller was from Optus and checking that I was separating my account . Rang the number back and there was a Voice recording checking to see if I was happy with my Cirgin Mobile Service. Reassured to know that others had same experience and it was another scam

I recently left Optus and joined Telstra so I am guessing this is a sales call to get me back. No chance!

Lady with strong Indian accent saying we got disconnected and she was calling me back regarding Optus. We are not with Optus so I hung up on her. Annoying

I did not answer as I did not recognise the number. However, given that several people have said that it was Virgin mobile - I was with them and they ceased to exist last year in Australia. Also, if call was from Optus, that is false because they would not call me already being a customer. (Optus took over Virgin a couple of years ago.)
