Caller: Woolworths Customer Hub Not a scam. It's Woolworths Customer Service responding to my online enquiry. Requested the person to send the info via email and all confirmed legit.

Caller: Woolworths customer service Not a scam. Woolworths customer centre followed up on my online enquiry/feedback. Yes, they ask you to verify yourself but not by asking any sensitive information. They asked my full name (as it was in the feedback) and which Woolworths store I emailed them about. They actually addressed my feedback.

Caller: Number listed above Claim to be Woolworth’s online, and requested information from me to verify that they were talking to the “real me”. Their number did not come up with any ID and I suggested to the young lady that she would have to prove to me that she was who she claimed to be, before I would return the favour. I have recently dealt with Woolies online, so there is every chance that the call could be genuine. However, equal chance that it was not. Thanked her for calling and rang off without any info being exchanged. If it was Woolies, then they need to send an email, pre-call, detailing the caller’s name and purpose. The fact that she wanted my email address, already on file with Woolies, is what left me wondering. Can’t be too careful these days.
