Got a call today from a "Mike" from "Optus" wanted to talk to me about my current mobile phone plan and switch me over. He told me he got my number out of the yellow pages....yeah...right you did - told him where to jump.

Called back and the Company is called GigaForce. I spoke to a guy named "Michael" (sounded like it was a westernised name for an employee at an overseas call centre) talking about a free upgrade with Optus. Haven't been with Optus for over a year on one account and about 3-4 months on the other.

May not be a full on scam but an annoying Telemarketing call at any rate.
