I'm not sure if it was Care Flight. However, we have donated in the past and have received many calls from them over the years. So, it could have been them.

They are very persistent and annoying. It's like being stalked. They sometimes leave amessage because they, or the computer they are using, think someone has answered. Apart from mentioning a first name they never identify themselves or their organisation. I've got into the habit of NEVER answering a call from a number not on my contacts list. If they are legit they will leave their contact details and reason for calling. If everyone did that we would soon be rid of these pests.

Recorded message claiming to be NBN network (who have tried to contact me, but failed) and would disconnect my computer - I hung up immediately after hearing this.
