Missed call no message left which indicates scammer to me

Called 3 times in last week. Just distant voices in background.

This was a missed call, with no message left, on a Saturday afternoon from an unknown number. Judging by the previous record from this number, I'd say it is almost certainly a predictive dialer, designed to target live numbers. So the same people who harass our landlines have now moved to our mobiles......

Just hung up when I answered.
